A MINI REVOLUTION

Hoko wasn't around for long, but it was known more for its name than for its: "There's a guy in a tiny shop near the seafront, and he has some unusual, but very technical, clothes."

That man was Joaquín, and his son Dani had just joined him, going to lend a hand for a few hours after he finished work.

These garments were their first work together, and many more have followed.

Joaquín came up with the fabric and Dani added the design.

The fabric was a mini-revolution at Hoko; most subsequent tights have featured variations on the same concept: lightweight, compressive, and just the right thickness.

The raw material, polypropylene, with features that surpassed all other fibers in terms of lightness, breathability, and thermal insulation, was already part of Hoko's original idea.

This fabric managed to enhance all these characteristics, resulting in a garment with a very high level of technicality and comfort.

And it was also the first realization of the Hoko aesthetic, that exotic, rare beauty that leaves no one indifferent. It's also a sign of our identity and that of those of you who dared, and continue to dare, to break away from the canon, from the mold.
